We’ve more than established ourselves in Bad Company 2 as one of the most skilled communities floating around. Now, with the upcoming release of Battlefield 3 we’re ready to conquer an all new frontier – one that will be much larger and of a scale never seen before in the history of gaming. We will be diving into BF3 with more members than we have ever boasted before and with a 64 man server which is sure to shoot to the top. While DICE has been busy prepping BF3 to be the biggest and best game ever made, the admins within ^EIN^ have been hard at work making sure we’re ready to handle such a large release. Spectacular web design has ensured the website looks top notch, and better than ever before. New modules added to the front page have made it easier than ever for newcomers to get integrated with our community with just a single click of their mouse, and amazing graphics work has resulted in the most kickass website banner ever known. While BF3 will be going straight to the top as the best first person shooter ever known, ^EIN^ will be right there as the best Battlefield community around.
End is Near Gaming was founded on February 10th 2009 by only three members. In less than three years, we’ve grown into a metropolis of skilled Battlefield players with over 100 registered members on our website to date. The philosophy behind the formation of ^EIN^ was to bring some of the most skilled Battlefield players into one community and enforce the importance of teamwork and communication. This philosophy has been seen as our competitive teams shot straight up the ladders in various competitive leagues for both Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 2142. We have extremely active forums chalk full of thousands of posts, as well as a very active Teamspeak server. Out of all the communities I’ve been a part of, none compare to ^EIN^. The atmosphere and members that reside within are among the most amazing people I’ve ever met.
How will BF3 change ^EIN^? It won’t change ^EIN^ - it will revamp it, revolutionize it even. We established ourselves as a small but skilled community back in the days of Battlefield 2142 and grew exponentially with the advent of Bad Company 2. Now that ^EIN^ has more than established itself within the gaming community we plan to smash the barrier of what we thought we were as a ‘clan’. Our 64 player server will bring us in dozens upon dozens of new members as it shoots to the top of game server lists everywhere. Our competitive teams will dedicate more time than ever before to being top notch and defeating any challenger that awaits us. Our Teamspeak will see tons of new names and hear an uncountable amount of new voices. The best part is that EVERYONE will be making new friends in the process. Our website will continuously see new upgrades allowing members to interact easier and better than ever before. Battlefield 3 is simply the medium through which all these changes will be conducted.
If you’re visiting this site for the first time, you’re probably wondering how you can get in on all the action. There are only two requirements that must be fulfilled to enlist within our ranks:
- You must have a microphone, if you don’t you must be willing to buy one
- You must be 16 years of age or over (for maturity purposes)
If you meet these requirements, click "Apply to ^EIN^" button above and fill out an application! A Lieutenant will be by shortly to review it and let you know if you’re in or not. In the meantime, feel free to click the "Join this server" button at the bottom of our Teamspeak 3 module to come hang out and chat with us. It is heavily recommended that all members download and install Xfire. It’s our primary form of communication outside of Teamspeak. For those who are unfamiliar as to what Xfire is, it’s just like Steam but much more light weight, and can take video/record screenshots in-game.
